Posted On 06/10/2009 02:00:28

So, Albertson's had another week of double coupons. The sales and my ever growing collection of coupons matched up perfectly! I made 16 stops at various Albertson's and made 22 purchases in all. Yes... I do realize I have a sickness. Like I said last time though, I really have dozens of opportunities to stop at Albertson's cause I drive right by them all the time. Anyways, Here's the rundown from this weeks stops.

How God provides for our family

So, anyone who noticed my status about Albertson's might have thought I sounded crazy. Go to Albertson's ten times in one week!? Why? Well, I actually went eleven times and three of those times I had someone with me who got a group of double coupon things for me too. So I was able to use fourteen groups of double coupons! They only allow you to use one group of double coupons per family per shopping trip, which is why I had to make so many seperate purchases.  Just so you all don't think I'm that crazy I feel the need to explain that I live just up the road from an Albertson's and there's another one right next to our church. I never went out of my way, or made a special trip just to go there.

Here's what it added up to: Cost $8.42

16 1lb. packages of BarS hotdogs

8 boxes of Wheat Thins

6 4oz. jars organic baby food

5 bottles Kraft dressing

5 tins Eclipse mints

5 4-count packages Dannon Activia yogurt

3 4-count packages DanActive yogurt drinks

3 7oz. packages baby food

3 bottles Frenchs mustard

3 bottles Lawrys marinade

3 bags Ritz chips

2 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce

1 4oz. jar baby food

1 package Trident gum

1 2lb. bag brown rice

1 Marie Calendars frozen dinner

1 loaf french bread

1 package of birthday candles

1 bottle Gatorade

1 bottle Powerade

1 box Yogi tea

Prayer Request
Posted On 06/11/2008 14:50:11

Please be praying for Isaac and I. He needs to stay put at least another week and a half to ensure his lungs are fully developed. I'm currently stuck laying about all day in an effort to keep him from going anywhere.

Thank you!

Hallelujah!

As most of you know Steven has been working nights for four years. The past two years He's been trying to get on the day shift. I don't want to say anything too bad about the person denying Steven days, but he's certainly not my favorite person in the world! Last week Steven's shift manager noticed how tired he's been looking lately and asked if he wanted to switch to days. Steven (of course) said he did, but that he'd been trying unfruitfully for two years. She said she'd talk to the not-nice-man. Well, of course she used his real name. Anyways, she talked to him, and now Steven is working days! We're soooo excited to have a normal life! I can't stop thanking God!

Spell check?

I CAN'T believe I didn't notice the I wrote 'BOGGERS' instead of 'bloggers'. Steven had to point it out to me.

Interesting thing: last night, as many of you know, it was snowing. I picked Steven up from work and we got home without any difficulty. After we had been home for about an hour Steven went out to take the garbage to the curb and found that our car had slid down the driveway and stop just short of the road. Odd since we had made it UP the driveway fine.

No Boggers?!

No body blogs! Why? No one has ANYTHING interesting to say?

Who's ready for summer? I'm done with winter all ready. If our car didn't have seat warmers I would refuse to go anywhere. Anybody else keep their house at 72 durring the day? (and still wear a light fleece jacket inside!) I think I was made for Hawaii weather. I do love the snow though, but we aren't getting much of it. I hate driving in the snow though. Ever since I slid on black ice and wound up upside down in a HUGE ditch I have to fight panic whenever I can feel the car loosing traction. At least I never have to worry about rolling into that same ditch again since they since put up a guard rail. The week before I went in the ditch another lady did the same thing, only the ditch was full of water and she drowned. Praise the Lord we (Heather and I) only got muddy! This all happened six years ago, not recently. In case anyone was curious.

Ok, I did my part. I wrote a blog. It might not be very good, but at least I wrote one! Now everyone else get busy and let us know what's new and interesting in your life!
