Acts5:29-32,38 Then Peter and the apostles answered and said,"We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you slew and hung on a tree. Him has God exalted with His right hand. A Prince and Saviour for to give repentance to Israel(mind you that Jacob name was changed to Israel when He received the Holy Ghost) and the forgiveness of sin(we all know that God forgives named sins)And we are His witness of these things and also the Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that obey Him. Now I say unto you refrain from these men(people)and let them alone for if this counsel or this work be of men it will come to nought but if it be of God you can not overthrow it lest haply you be found even to fight against God.
Romans13:1-2 Let every soul be subject unto the higher power for there is no power but of God. The power that be are ordained of God whosoever therefore resist the power resist the Ordinance of God and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Revelation21:8 The sovereign Will of God Almighty is certain of complete fulfillment but the moral Law is disobeyed by the people and the desires of God are fulfilled only to the extent that they are included in His Will. God does not desire that any should perish but it is clear that many will not be saved.

Now why tarry you? Arise and be baptized to wash away your sins calling in the Name of the Lord.
