SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER, FLYLEAF, WITHIN TEMPTATION are my favorites..

"The greatest threat facing America today is not terrorism, or foreign economic competition, or illegal immigration. The greatest threat facing America today is the disastrous fiscal policies of our own government, marked by shameless deficit spending and Federal Reserve currency devaluation. It is this one-two punch - Congress spending more than it can tax or borrow, and the Fed printing money to make up the difference - that threatens to impoverish us by further destroying the value of our dollars."

-- Congressman Ron Paul April 10th, 2007

"It's against the law in America to hire people illegally." - Sen. John Kerry, 2004

"And there is distrust in Washington. I am suprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it."
- President George Bush, January 2007.

"For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times."
-George W., Tokyo, Japan; Feb. 18, 2002

"If Congress were to pass a 'flat' tax, you'd simply pay a fixed percentage of your income, and you wouldn't have to fill out any complicated
forms, and there would be no loopholes for politically connected groups, and normal people would actually understand the tax laws,
and giant talking broccoli stalks would come around and mow your lawn for free, because Congress is NOT going to pass a flat tax,
you pathetic fool." - Dave Barry

If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. ~ Jim Rohn

"The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." - President James Madison

"This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
- Romans 10:9

I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews but are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. - Revelation 2:9-10

Stephen, John the Baptist.. really you'd have to admire almost all of them, right? (at least the ones God blessed) because they all had amazing faith and were used for great purposes.

Interesting, you have the links in your profile HTML set to black, on a black background.  You must 'select' the text in order to see it.  Was that intentional?

God bless!

Quite true, we do live in K falls

From what I heard, Jackson was a pretty crazy guy.. kind of like a dictator.  One of those things that you don't find the real stuff very easily.. kind of how Davy Crockett was really not a cool guy either, but most people see the movies and think he was this really great guy.

I think I am getting tired of this hat though, I might change it out anyway for the hopes of spring!

Yeah, I'll have to look more into what kind of guy he was, you never can be sure, there's been some creepy dudes in our past! The last history thing I read on Davy Crocket was that he led a bunch of people west, was a really good shot, and died at the Alamo, they really didn't mention anything else, he was a pretty short chapter!  (^;

I don't know, more snow may still be coming, don't forget, we live in Klamath Falls and it's only January! As for Andrew Jackson, I haven't read his life story or anything, what kind of guy was he?

The key to living a victorious Christian life is to discover who you
are in Christ. Many Christians have never discovered this. They remind
me of the man who had an identity problem and an energy crisis at the
same time. He didn’t know who he was and he was too tired to find out.
God doesn’t work from the outside in. He works from the inside out. God
doesn’t modify our behavior in order to change us. He changes us in
order to modify our behavior. You’re never going to purify the water by
painting the pump. That’s legalism and that’s a dead end to discovering
who you are in Christ.

Have a great day

Hey Kieth! I just learned in history today that the Norsemen were really the first ones to discover America!! How cool is that?
