My super cool brother! (Although all of my brothers are super cool, I'm talking about the one that thought up this site:)

I like a wide variety of music. :) I guess you could say a little of everything. (Or a lot of a lot) But I know that what you fill your mind with your mind will be full of, and I listen to music a lot, so I tend to usually listen to christian music or just music without words, (though I do listen to non-christian music too). Which I also like lots of.... :)
The Cd's I've been listening to most lately though, are.....

Newsboys - Adoration
Casting Crowns - The Altar And The Door
Caedmon's call - Share The Well
Fernando Ortega - Hymns Of Worship
- The Best of Dance
Selah - Hiding Place
- A really cool Bach CD
And my sister's CD that has a bunch of different christian artists on it. It's one of my favorites. : )

The End of the Spear by Steve Saint
God's Smuggler by Brother Andrew
Magnus by Sigmund Brouwer
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Annie, Between the States by Laura Elliott
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Bruchko by Bruce Olson
Stepping Heavenward by Mrs. E. Prentiss
The Dictionary,.... : )

I love making things, so I do a lot of different crafts. Lately I've mostly been doing crocheting, sewing, and my version of "scrap-booking". :) Oh! And one of my new things is taking clothes that are almost cute, or don't quite fit, and "fixing" them. : ) (Which does fall under the category of sewing) I haven't done very much yet, but it's really fun. Especially when you can figure out what to do and how to do it. ;)
Also reading, cooking, and playing fun games......(Can you call that a hobby?)

Picking a favorite when I don't have one.... Planned Parenthood's disgustingly "happy" commercials..... When people trick people into feeling stupid...

You know those elderly people that always say "God bless you" and talk about going to heaven and the rapture with honest joy and hopefulness? And somehow you know they mean every word and they don't care what other people think. You can tell they love Jesus with all their heart, and care more about pleasing Him then anyone else, almost like they're untouchable by the world. And they're always speaking wisdom, but never preaching.. I can't wait to get to that point! Somehow I know so much of what they know, and yet they live it in a way that is so different. With the help of Jesus they've conquered the world........I know that I should be thankful for everything. They ARE thankful for everything. I know I should care more about what pleases Jesus then what other people think. They DO care more about pleasing Jesus then what other people think. And yet they have the wisdom to do it in such a way that is gentle.... and attractive. I know Jesus should come first. With them Jesus is first!..... I'm hoping I'll be that humble servant of God someday!!..... Sometimes I think maybe it only comes with age....... I don't know..... But if it does, I can't wait to be old!! : )

"It's hard to look past yourself when you're looking at the world through a mirror."

"They make me go faster...... And they help me steer."
Ethan, about his new shoes, when he was four. :)

Non-Denomination

I've got lots, and I love them all to death! : )

I don't have a favorite verse. But here are some that I like....

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
Romans 8:18

"Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken."
Psalm 55:22

John Eliot and his wife Hannah, Nathaniel Bowditch, George Washington,...

Ken Ham, Brother Andrew, Steve Saint, Joseph Rojas, (I don't know much about him but his testimony is really cool)

To live my life for Jesus with an obedient and servant's heart.

Only my friends can see my activity feed.

Hi Miriam! I guess you are my friend after all. :-) I'm so out of my own loop. It was nice visiting with you last night. I'll see you around!

And we're pretty centrally located. I mean, Jonathan and Shelley could come see us too! Family reunion at our house! Imagine all the people who could play Ultimate Frisbee!! :D

Haha.. yeah.. even with Michael's brown belt in Judo.. it wouldn't help. Grand Forks is a totally different city at night. It's scary. :/

Hey! :D I miss you guys! It's good to be home, but I wish we all lived a little closer together. Our visits are few and far between. I'm hoping over spring break next semester, I can fly out and see you guys, but that's a big maybe. Actually, you all need to come see us! You've never seen our house before, so it's high time for a visit. ;) And there's a park a couple blocks away from our house that is PERFECT for Ultimate Frisbee. So yes.. it's your guys' turn to come visit. ;)

Hey, you're not reading the Louisa May Alcott book I gave to Naomi, are you??

I bet we were the first ones to come up with 'muffin' :-)

Hahaha. Are you still mad because I liked Ratatouille better than Flushed Away?

By the way, I really really like the pot holders that you and Sarah made for me! They are not too small at all and I find myself always going out of my way to look for those ones when I need to use one. :-)

Hi Miriam! :D  Well... bravery, determination, leadership... I know he had some craziness to him, some wrong ideas, but a guy's not going to find a perfect historical figure to admire. :D
